Scott Sheffield, 48, of Eldorado passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Rodney Owens officiating. Mr. Sheffield will be laid to rest at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Randy Hogan, Danny Gaskins, Hal Walker, Jeff Willis, Jeff Wiggins, Chad Newbern and Rusty Bailey will serve as pallbearers.
Born June 28, 1973, in Tift County, Mr. Sheffield was the son of Mary Ellen White Wojcik of Eldorado and the late Roger Dale Walker, Jr. He was a steel worker at Cooksey Steel in Tifton and loved to fish and loved going to the beach. He also loved his truck; he loved his cat, Lila; and he loved his dogs, Browser and Trixie.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Sheffield is survived by his girlfriend, Tina Starnes of Waycross; one son, Michael Anderson of Andalusia, Alabama; one daughter, Samantha Smith of Stratton, Colorado; one brother, Tony Snow; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Renae Moore and Gina Doty, both of Eldorado, and Lori and Randy Hogan and Christy and Rusty Bailey, all of Tifton; three grandchildren; eight nieces; five nephews; two great-nieces; and seven great-nephews.
