Robert J. "Bob" Molloy, Jr. 57, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday January 6, 2022 at Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Kim M. (D'Amelio) Molloy, with whom he shared 22 years of marriage.
Bob grew up an Norwood, Mass attending St. Catherine’s and graduating from Xaverian Bros High School. Framingham State College was his next stop on his journey. Having various jobs and finally settling down, over 25 years ago in Franklin, it became his home.
But where Bob was doesn't reflect who he was. His nickname, “Big”, was due to his stature, yet it was more reflective of his heart and soul. He was genuine, sensitive, funny, kind and happy.
Love for his wife Kim, his children , Brendan and his wife Taylor ,Justin and his wife Brittany: and his newest joy, granddaughter Margot was immeasurable. His love for his Mother in law, Lois D’Amelio, Brothers in law, Mark D’Amelio and wife Cheryl and niece Rachel , Scott D’Amelio and his wife Cathy, nephew Mathew nieces Elisabeth and Marissa was deep. Aunts, Uncles, and cousins by the dozens were everything to him.
Distance nor time away had relevance on how important they were to him. His kindness, caring and loyalty showed in each of his friendships, some over 45 years. His ability to fill a room with laughter, was an art he mastered.
To say he will be missed is an understatement, our hearts are broken.
