TRANIELLO, Rita (Yebba) Age 92, of Dedham, January 5, 2022 peacefully passed away in her sleep at home where she lived for 50 years. Beloved wife of the late John Traniello. Devoted mother of Jo-Ann Shaughnessy and Judith Dixon both of Norwood, Anthony J. Traniello of West Peabody, Maria McDonald and Lisa Akikie of Stoughton, and Rita Volpe of Walpole. Also survived by 9 loving and adored grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Rita was the youngest of eight children; four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham on Monday, Jan. 10 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Sunday, Jan. 9 from 4-8pm. Private interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Roslindale. The family respectfully request that visitors wear a face covering during visitation.
