LEICESTER: Michele C. "Shelley" (Peters) Rutman, 66, of Leicester Died Monday, January 3 in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
She leaves two sons; Michael Rutman and his wife Nikki of Worcester and Eric Rutman of Worcester, three sisters; Sandra Jerome of Leicester, Karen Frykberg and her husband Glenn of Spencer and Janice Peters and her husband Charles Cummiskey of Spencer and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Ronald Peters and a sister Susan Rainsford.
Michele was born in Worcester, daughter of Aleck and Jean (Cutting) Peters. She had a wonderful sense of humor & liked funny jokes. She loved animals and children and had a deep love of music. She enjoyed doing crafts and her favorite pastime was fishing with her fishing buddy, her brother Ronnie. She also enjoyed yard sales and shopping.
A celebration of Shelley's life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Odd Fellows Home, 104 Randolph Road, Worcester, MA 01606. MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester is directing funeral arrangements.
