Richard J. Paluch passed away after a long valiant fight against bone cancer on December 26. Richard was a long time resident of Santa Barbara, California. He was a great glass artist who had a long standing booth at the Santa Barbara Art Walk who always left people chuckling and thinking about the world around them. He was an amateur inventor of ideas and characters, had a great sense of humor, and was dearly loved. He was always his own man. A truly unique person who made others laugh and left the world in wonder. There will not be another like him.
Richard wanted to say to everyone he leaves behind, “I loved everyone.” And, “I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again as time moves on. My heart will always be in Santa Barbara.”
