Kanoeun Yin, 72 of Lowell passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 after a brief illness. He was born in Kâmpóng Cham, Cambodia and was a son of the late Sas Yin and the late Sak Rous. He was raised and educated in Cambodia, where he obtained his Associates Degree. He served in the Cambodian military before relocating to the United States on April 30, 1983.
He is survived by his children, Chhunneang Yin, Samnang Yin, Many Yin, Thary Yin, Carol Yin, Kellee Chhun, Komsan A. Yin, and Chhunna J. Yin; and his 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by his former wife and longtime best friend, Veth Chhun.
On Sunday morning, January 9, 2022, all are welcome to gather from 8-8:30 a.m. in the parking lot at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell for procession to Merrimack Crematory, 10 Henry Clay Drive, Merrimack, NH for his funeral service.
