Alvin “Neal” Adcock, III, 68, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Adcock at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Dr. Wayne Roe will officiate.
Born June 19, 1953, in Tifton, Mr. Adcock was the son of the late A. N. Adcock, Jr. and Edith Sandifer Adcock. He was the co-owner of Adcock Pecans and he was a member of Tifton’s First Baptist Church.
Mr. Adcock is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Cathy Adcock of Tifton; one sister and brother-in-law, Anne and Mace Johnson of Tifton; and seven nieces and nephews, Clint Adcock, Jessica Smith, Chloe Adcock-Del Toro, Taylor Franks, Hillary Smith, Reede Johnson and Banks Johnson.
The family would like to thank Flo Sumpter for her special care of Mr. Adcock. They would also like to thank all the health care and Hospice workers who helped take such good care of Neal.
