Jennifer Mary Farquharson, age 47, a lifelong resident of Winchester, passed away on January 4, 2022 after a long and valiant battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was the beloved mother of Brandan Farquharson of Watertown.
Born, raised and educated in Winchester, Jennifer attended St. Mary’s School and was a 1992 graduate of Winchester High School. While in high school, she played soccer, softball and the violin, and worked for Dr. Lauretano and Salvy’s Bakery. She was a member of Winning Farm in Woburn, the 4H Club, and was an accomplished equestrian.
After high school, Jennifer went to work for PageNet in Burlington, when pagers were the cutting edge technology. In her spare time, in addition to riding horses, she loved to knit afghans and baby blankets.
In addition to her son, Brandan, Jennifer is lovingly survived by her parents, Howard J. and Denise M. (DeJessie) Farquharson, of Winchester; her siblings, Daniel Farquharson and his wife Catherine of Studio City, CA, and Michele Farquharson of Tewksbury. She was also the granddaughter of Howard J. Farquharson and his late wife Ann Louise, of Burlington, the late Fred and Rita Servello and the late Louis DeJessie and is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
