Arthur L. Anderson, 72, of Worcester died Monday, January 3rd at home surrounded by his family. He leaves a son, Thomas Anderson and his wife, Christina of Millbury; two daughters, Allegra Denehy of Holliston, and Jody Simpson and her husband, Peter of Grafton; a sister, Carol Anderson Nester and her partner, Joseph Dynof of Leicester; six grandchildren; several, nieces, nephews, cousins; a great nephew; and three aunts. He was predeceased by his brother, John Anderson.
He was born in Worcester the son of John E. and Clara (Camarra) Anderson. Arthur was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. Mr. Anderson enjoyed fast cars, sports, and surrounding himself with his friends at Breen’s.
Funeral services and burial in Notre Dame Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
