Ghislaine (Michaud) Berube, 74, currently residing in Methuen, MA formally of Lawrence, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 27, 2021, at the Holy Family Hospital and Medical Center in Methuen, MA surrounded by her loved ones.
The daughter of late Gerard and Cecile (Lolezodte), Michaud, Ghislaine was born on October 12, 1947, in Notre Dame Du Lac, P.Q. Canada and was educated in schools in Canada. She came to the Greater Lawrence area in 1969 and was a home maker. She loved gardening, making puzzles, sewing, arts & crafts, and traveling to Canada. Ghislaine had a huge heart and beautiful soul. She was the best mother and Memere, and she will be deeply missed by her family and everyone who knew her.
Ghislaine is survived by her loving children, Nancy Harper of Londonderry, N.H., Steve Berube of Windham, N.H., and Carl Berube of Hampstead, N.H. She was the loving Memere of her grandchildren, Justin and Brandon Berube, Gabe and Ben Berube; granddaughter, Maddison Kierra Harper; many brothers and sisters of Maine and Canada; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Ghislaine is predeceased by her husband, Renaud Berube.
The family would like to thank the members of Holy Family hospital, who showed tremendous amount of compassion and support in Ghislaine’s final hours.
