Worcester : Jenice E. (Edgecomb) Peterson, 90, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center , University Campus. She leaves her husband of 62 years Donald L. Peterson; 5 children- Joseph Peterson and his wife Sue of Conway, NH, Steven Peterson and his wife Cindy of Newbury, NH, David Peterson and his wife Karen of Wolfboro, NH, Robert Peterson of Worcester, and Donna Arsenault of Worcester; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A beloved daughter Mary Jane Melton and 10 siblings predeceased her.
Jen was born in Limestone, Maine , daughter of the late Roscoe and Mary ( Caldwell ) Edgecomb. She graduated from high school and worked as an office manager at the former R.H. White Company for many years. Her most important job of all was being a wife and mother. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and its Martha Mary Circle . She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
A funeral service will be private. Burial will be held at a later date in All Faiths Cemetery . There are no calling hours. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
