Mrs. Laureanne H. (Turgeon) Nadeau, 84, of Methuen, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2021, surrounded by family, at Mary Immaculate Nursing Home and Restorative Center. Born in St. Pierre Baptiste Canada on August 26, 1937. Laureanne moved to the Merrimack Valley as a young woman with her Husband and resided here for most of her life. She worked at Mary Immaculate for 25 years as a Nurses aid until her retirement. She also owned a hair salon in Canada. Laureanne is survived by her loving husband Gerard Nadeau, and seven children including two daughters, Linda Goodwin and husband Edward Goodwin of Salem, New Hampshire, Doris Lebel and husband Sylvain Lebel of Hodgdon, Maine. She had five sons, Sylvain Nadeau and wife Barbara Nadeau of Cornish, New Hampshire, Bertrand Nadeau and wife Kathy Nadeau of Salem, New Hampshire, Donald Nadeau and partner Laurie Lach of Dracut, Massachusetts, Robert Nadeau of Lawrence Massachusetts, and Steve Nadeau and wife Kacey Nadeau of Methuen Massachusetts. Laureanne is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd., Dracut.( At the request of the family masks are to be worn in the funeral home) A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Monica Church on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 11:00 am,(The Archdioceses requires masks in the church).
