Ofelia Scudieri, of Medford, formerly of the North End of Boston and Sulmona, Italy, December 31st. Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe Scudieri. Mother of Gina D’Arco and her husband Pino of Sharon, Anna Federico and her husband Frank of Randolph and Patty Short and her husband Dave of Medford. Grandmother of Monia, Frank, Joseph, Robert, Angela, Brian, Andrew, Eric and Dave. Great grandmother of Joey, Olivia and Dave. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Ofelia was raised and educated in Sulmona, Italy. She immigrated to the United States with her family and settled in the North End of Boston and later moved to Medford. Ofelia was a homemaker who enjoyed the company of her family. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Thursday January 6th at 8:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the Mass on Thursday only.
