Vincent A. DeGeorge, of Malden, December 30th. Beloved husband of the late Sarah A. DeGeorge. Father of Jennifer DeGeorge of Malden, Julie Easterday of San Antonio, Texas and Janine Hanley and her husband Dan of Melrose. Grandfather of Samantha, Daniel, Sarah, Matthew, Christopher, Ryan and Michael. Great grandfather of Charlie. Brother of the late Louis, John and Frank DeGeorge. Vincent was raised and educated in Everett. He is a graduate of Our Lady of Grace School in Everett. Vincent received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University. He worked for General Electric for 35 years. Vincent was an active parishioner at Immaculate Conception Parish in Malden. He served as a prayer group leader and as a member of the Franciscan Secular Order and the St. Vincent DePaul Society. He was also an avid New England Patriots Fan and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Friday January 7th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday January 6th from 4-7 PM.
