Bressler, Michael of Wellesley on December 22, 2021 — at the winter solstice, the longest night of the year — our beloved Michael "Misha" Bressler set forth on his journey back to the light. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, a devoted friend, and a captivating storyteller. His childhood during World War II, his survival of the blockade of Leningrad, his youth in Soviet Russia, and his struggle to emigrate to the West developed in him a wisdom and inner strength that sustained not only him, but also his family and his wide network of friends. His memory lives on in the hearts of his beloved wife, Natalya Bressler of Wellesley; his children, Paul Bressler of Bogota and Nina Bressler of Prague; and his grandchildren Maria, Benjamin, David, and Iselina.
