Obituary

Carol Ann Dever, 66, of Pembroke, Massachusetts passed on December 31, 2021 after a long illness.

Born in Boston in 1955 she was the daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy Pike.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends including card games, bowling, and getaways to Las Vegas. Watching her grandchildren play sports brought her great joy.

She retired after 32 years of hard work at Stop and Shop.

Carol was the wife of Thomas Dever Sr. for 46 years and survived by brothers Frank Nelson, Jim Nelson, Donald Pike Jr. and her sister Terri McKay. She was also the sister of the late Gregory Pike.

Carol lived a fulfilling life as a mother to Thomas Dever Jr. and his wife Nichole of Rockland, Michael Dever and his wife Elizabeth of Halifax. She was a loving grandmother to Madison, Luke, Giovanna, and Sadie.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visiting hours on Wednesday January 5 from 9:30-10:30 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in Holy Apostles Church (formerly Our Lady of the Lake) Monponsett Street, Halifax. Burial will be in the Saint James Cemetery, Whitman
