Margarita Gjinko, 91, of Worcester died Thursday, December 30th in St. Mary Health Care Center. She leaves her husband of 67 years, Thodor Gjinko; her children, Robert Gjinko and his wife, Izminka, Valentina Cace and her husband, Thoma, and Majlinda Tomco and her husband, Petrika all of Worcester; a brother, Chris Foto of Grafton; a sister, Lefteri Sotillari of Worcester; six grandchildren, Bledi Cace, Dorikla Hendel, Herma Gjinko, Pamela Stefanllari, Pirro Tomco, and Tia Tomco; 2 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was born in Postenan, Leskovik, Albania the daughter of Nikolla and Evgjeni (Peco) Foto and emigrated to the United States in 1997. Margarita enjoyed reading poems and listening to Albanian Folk music.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 4th in Hope Cemetery. The procession will leave at 10:00 a.m. from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. There are no calling hours.
