Marion Estella (Selfridge) Antos 94, passed away December 30, 2021 at Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her husband of 43 years Edward S. “Eddie” Antos died July 2, 1992. She leaves 2 sons, Steven E. Antos and his wife Cynthia K. of Thompson, CT., James M. Antos and his wife Nancy of New Ipswich, New Hampshire, a son-in-law Gerald Bacon of Thompson, CT. 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was born in Medford, October 25, 1927 a daughter of the late Bertram J. and Ange Rose (Frederick) Selfridge and lived in Dudley since 1952, prior to moving to Shrewsbury. Marion graduated from Westford Academy in 1945 and later graduated from Burbank School of Nursing in 1949.
She was predeceased by a daughter Patricia R. Bacon in 2001 and a brother Frederick.
Marion was a registered nurse for many years and did private duty for insurance companies and families, she was also the school nurse for Tantasqua Regional School District from 1971-1981, retiring in 1989.
She was a member of the Dudley First Congregational Church, the Dudley Grange and the Red Hat Society.
Calling hours will be Friday, January 7, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St., Webster followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM at the Dudley First Congregational Church, Center Rd., Dudley Hill followed by burial in Corbin Cemetery in Dudley with her beloved husband and daughter.
