BOSTON: Gerald P. “Jerry” Kennedy, 64, died unexpectedly at his residence on December 21, 2021 after a courageous battle with Leukemia.
He was born on October 18, 1957 the son of the late Ted Kennedy and Filena T. (DiDonato) Kennedy.
Jerry is survived by his siblings, Wayne M. Kennedy and his wife Barbara of Natick; Carlene A. Sample and her husband David of Goose Creek, SC and Richard E. Kennedy of Framingham. He was the Uncle of Heather C. Meade and her husband John of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Steven M. Kennedy of Natick and Keri L. Barros and her husband Ty of Norwood. Also survived by many cousins.
Jerry was a graduate of Natick High School with the Class of 1976. He has been associated with the Boston Sheraton in the Back Bay for over 30 years as a Bartender.
He has resided in Boston for over 25 years and spent his formative years in Natick with his family. He loved to travel to Florida, enjoyed bike riding as well as trips on his motorcycle. He will be fondly remembered by all the lives that he touched.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 12:00 pm at the Kennedy family lot in Lakeview Cemetery, 80 Commonwealth Road (Rt, 30), Wayland.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in Jerry’s memory may be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
