Rolando Jaramillo, 59, of Worcester passed away Monday, December 27th at UMass Memorial Medical Center. He leaves three sons, Martin Noel Ortega and his wife, My Nguyen of Auburn, Angel Ortega and his wife, Kaitlynn Rose Ortega of Clinton, and Roandy Jaramillo of Worcester; a daughter, Ashley Jaramillo and her fiancé Nery Antonio Ciciliane of Worcester; five grandchildren, Maila, Mateo, Misael, Alijah, and Noah; and his former wife, Rosa Calvillo.
He was born in Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico, the son of Agapito Jaramillo Rodriguez and Delfina (Campos) De Jaramillo. Rolando immigrated to the United States in the early 80’s and started his own sheet rock business. He was a very hard worker who would always want to stay busy and it showed in his work ethic and business. Rolando’s favorite hobby was fishing as he would fish two to three days at a time at his favorite saltwater locations. Most of all, Rolando enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
