Margaret L. “Peggy” LaMontagne, 73, of Derry, NH, passed away Tuesday December 28, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 30, 1948 in Malden, MA, a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (McElroy) Watson. Peggy was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry, Class of 1966. She enjoyed going to the beach and retail therapy.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Norman J. LaMontagne of Derry; her daughter, Amy LaMontagne of Derry, one brother, John Watson of Hampstead, NH; one sister, Constance Moll of Haverhill, MA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 9 – 11am in the Peabody Funeral Home, 15 Birch Street, Derry with a service to begin at 11am in the funeral home. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Haverhill, MA will be held privately by the family.
