Obituary

Theresa “Tee” Ridley (Brault) passed away unexpectedly at her home in Mystic on December 26, 2021. She was born in Hartford CT on May 6, 1960, grew up in Glastonbury and lived the last few decades in South Eastern Connecticut. She is survived by her son Joseph St Jean, his wife Gina, and their son Mason. She is also survived by her father Russell Brault and his wife Kathleen of Manchester, her mother Mary Acunto and her husband Matthew of East Hartford. Her siblings Michele Daniels, Michael Brault, Patricia Revoir (husband Frederick), David Brault (wife Cindy), Robert Brault (wife Denise), and Danielle Goldaper (husband Jason). She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews who fondly referred to her as “Auntie Tee Tee.” They are Stephanie, Autumn, Kelsey, Robert, Kevin, Lucas, Nathen, Alexandria, Matthew, Eve, and Jenna. Tee was predeceased by her brother Tommy Brault.

She loved boating and being on the water. Her favorite time of year was Summer, when she could be out on a boat, soaking up the sun, and rafting up with neighboring friends. She took pride in her excellent cooking and hosted many gatherings for friends and family. She had a beautiful voice and loved singing and playing the guitar. She loved to go shopping for the latest style and always wore them beautifully. She delighted in taking her nieces shopping for the latest trends. Tee adored having her nieces and nephews over for sleepovers as frequently as she could and would make the best Mac and Cheese and grilled cheese sandwiches. While she loved many things, her greatest love was becoming a grandmother to Mason in 2016. She never knew what she wanted to be called as a grandparent until Mason started calling her Daba, and it immediately stuck. It was perfect and she loved it. When in Mason’s presence, she felt no pain and had endless energy. Whether chasing each other around the playground or creating their own silly games, they always cherished their time together. They were buddies and he will miss playing with his Daba.

Her family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, in historic downtown Mystic.
