CURTIS John P. Longtime resident of West Roxbury, passed away December 27, 2021. Beloved husband of Mary D. (Mullen) Curtis. Devoted father of John P. Curtis Jr. and his former wife Michele of Shrewsbury, and Karen Curtis of West Roxbury. Loving grandfather of Stephanie Quinlivan and her husband Sean of Worcester, Katherine and Matthew Curtis both of Shrewsbury, and Ryan John Curtis of West Roxbury. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Longtime member of Sgt. Guido Petrelli, Sons of Italy, Roslindale, as well as the Needham Sportsman’s Club.
Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Thursday, December 30th from 4-6pm. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Theresa’s Church, 2078 Centre St. West Roxbury on Friday, December 31st at 12noon (Please go directly to the church). Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John’s memory to the Monastery of St. Clare 920 Centre St. Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
