Racheal Diamantina Semedo, 31

Racheal Diamantina Semedo, age 31, of Acushnet, formerly of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, following a battle with Cancer on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Born in Okinawa, Japan on October 16, 1990, she was the beloved daughter of John S. and Kimberly-Beth (Marujo) Semedo of Mansfield.
Racheal grew up in Fall River and Mansfield and was schooled at home, under the supervision of her parents, and attended Bristol Community College.
A resident of Acushnet for the past fourteen months, Racheal had worked as a store clerk at Aldi in Wareham and had previously lived in Maine for eight years, where she was employed at Marden’s Department Store.
Along with her family, she attended Harvest Community Church in Woonsocket. More than anything else, Racheal treasured the times spent with her adoring family and pets. Her hobbies included photography, hiking, times spent at the beach, getting dressed up and dining out. She will be deeply missed and loved forever by all whose lives she touched.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her devoted brothers: Jordan A. Semedo of Mansfield, Isaiah J. Semedo of Mansfield and Matthew D. Semedo of Mansfield. She was the loving granddaughter of Antone, Jr. and Dorothy (Roderick) Semedo of Wareham, Elizabeth McHenry of Acushnet and the late David Marujo. She is also survived by her cherished cat “Marci”, as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of her life on Thursday, December 30th at 10:00 A.M. at the Harvest Community Church, 60 North Main Street, in Woonsocket.
Funeral home visiting hours are omitted, and burial took place privately at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.
