Plymouth, NH- Michael Robert Stringfellow, age 55, passed away in his home on December 21, 2021.
He was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania February 21, 1966. He is the son of Robert and Gloria Stringfellow. After graduating he answered his calling to serve his country and enlisted in the US Navy like his father. He proudly served in Dessert Storm.
Michael loved to fish, either fresh water or saltwater fishing. He would go with his father every chance they could. Michael love going to the movies, cooking and taking care of his father.
He worked as a cook in the Navy and pursued that career as the kitchen manager at Outback Steak House, in Ocala. Sadly, his mother Gloria lost her battle with cancer in 1993. He then devoted his life taking care of his father, Robert.
He is predeceased by his father and mother, Robert and Gloria Stringfellow.
Michael is survived by his siblings – Kathleen Backman and husband Don of Bridgton, and Robin Stringfellow of West Virginia.
A graveside service with US Navy Honors will be held on Thursday Dec. 30 at 1 PM at Brooklawn Memorial Park, Congress St., Portland, along with his father's service at the same time and place.
