Dana Raymond deGrasse, 70 of Derry, NH passed away unexpectedly December 27, 2021, at Parkland Medical Center in Derry. Dana was born August 30, 1951, at Chelsea Naval Hospital and was a son of the late Raymond and Genevieve (Dudek) deGrasse. Dana was raised and educated in Burlington, MA and had been a resident of Derry since 1979.
Dana is survived by his loving wife Dorothy (Halliday) deGrasse of Derry, two daughters and their spouses, Christine (Kevin) Bostaph of Raymond, NH and Karen (Kimberly) Everett-Lambert of Westfield, MA, four grandchildren, Arielle, Kevin “KC”, Grant and Bennett, two great grandchildren, Cole and Isla, two sisters, Deborah deGrasse of TX and Jean Lowery of Berlin, NH, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dana was employed in engineering at Wall Industries in Exeter, NH. His passion for jazz music was contagious and at times extremely loud. His favorite past time was working under the hood on his newest sports car. He was also a devoted contributor to many charities, especially for Veterans’ Organizations and Law Enforcement Agencies.
Services being held by the family are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dana’s memory to the Derry Salvation Army, 18 Folsom Rd., Derry, NH 03038. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium is assisting the family.
