WEBSTER – Geraldine L. (Barry) Saladino, 84, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at home. Her husband of 60 years, Vincent Saladino, died in 2015.
She leaves a son, Stephen J. Saladino and his wife Karen of Webster; 5 grandchildren, Richard, Stephen and Derek Lewis, Christopher Thomas Saladino and Alicia Marie Saladino; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 children, Thomas J. Saladino, Carmela Marie Saladino and Vincent J. Saladino. Her younger sister Joanne Clancy also died on December 22.
She was born on July 19, 1937 in Boston and raised in Cambridge, the daughter Catherine T. Barry. She lived in North Andover and Wilmington, MA and Vero Beach, FL before moving to Webster in 1998.
Mrs. Saladino was a homemaker who raised her family. She loved babysitting her grandchildren, watching crime shows and the Hallmark channel and making an occasional visit to Foxwoods.
A celebration of her life will be held in the chapel of Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Roslindale at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 30. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster.
