Rachel Marie (Gallerani) Kaloroumakis, age 63, passed away on December 24th at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 19, 1958 in Springfield, a daughter of the late Edward and Marie (Lapierre) Gallerani. Rachel worked for Falcetti Music many years before she retired and became self employed doing what she loved selling her beautiful handmade crafts. Her love of pets was endless as she rescued many animals. She had such a love for her church family and faith, she was an amazing cook and put such pride in her food, she flea marketed with her Parents and sisters for many years, Christmas was her favorite and her happy place was the beach. Rachel was the most selfless woman always putting everyone before herself even when she got sick. She is survived by her companion Francis Crochetiere and their cats; her son John Kaloroumakis and his wife Evelyn of Springfield; her daughter Catherine Westley and her husband Deshawn of Chicopee; three sisters, Dorina Stasiowski of Monson, Elizabeth Adams and her husband Bruce of Belchertown and Deborah Wilder and her husband Douglas of Springfield; five grandchildren, Gabriel, Uriel, David, Alondra and Bella; along with her ex-husband and close friend, Jeffrey J. Kalououmakis, his wife Maria and their children, Jeff Venanico, Ashley Cibrao and her husband Luis and their daughter Mia. Her second Mom Victoria Kaloroumakis and The Late James Kaloroumakis. Her sister in law Janet Maynard and her husband Jim of Ludlow; Her Nieces Rebecca Renzette and Danielle Keyes and their husbands and children; She also leaves her beloved gran pups, Falkor and Bastian. calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 11:00 AM in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 410 Main St, Holyoke followed by burial in Fairview Cemetery.
