Lois M. Kingdon, 90, of Londonderry, NH passed away Friday December 24, 2021 at her residence, after a period of declining health. Lois was born February 14, 1931 in Salem, NH and was the daughter of the late Walter Meserve and Mary (Greenwood) Lee. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Woodbury High School.
Lois was a long time resident of Salem, NH. Following retirement, Lois and her husband spent 38 years in Dade City, FL, and resided in Londonderry for the past three years to be near family. She was employed for many years as a bookkeeper with the Sullivan Fuel Co. Lois was an avid jigsaw puzzle maker and enjoyed many crafts, including quilting, knitting and sewing.
Members of the family include her loving husband of 70 years, William E. Kingdon; four children and their spouses, John (Kymberly) Kingdon, Cherryl (William) Gordon, Joyce (Richard) Newman and Brenda (Robert) Selinga; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister Eleanor Reed, Sister-in-law Marilyn Meserve, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
All services will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: VNA/Hospice of Manchester and Southern NH, 1070 Holt Avenue, Suite 1400, Manchester, NH 03109. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium are assisting the family with arrangements.
