Marla Nichols Walker, 76, of Tifton passed away Friday, December 24, 2021, at Legacy Village in Tifton. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Walker at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Enigma, where she will be laid to rest. Elder W. Craig Deloach and Elder Walter Deloach will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born July 30, 1945, in Tift County, Mrs. Walker was the daughter of the late Walter T. Nichols and Irene Gibbs Nichols. Before retiring, she was employed at Tifton Medical Clinic/Affinity. She was a member of Tifton Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband, Freddie Walker of Tifton; one son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Tammy Walker of Milan; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Robert Danner of Lula; one brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Charlotte Nichols of Tifton; six grandchildren, Alisa Walker, Nikki Harper and her husband Josh, Dusty Baker, Jenna Addison, Jessica Danner and Madison Danner; and five great-grandchildren, Kinsley Harper, Jace Addison, Jeb Addison, Jackson Addison and Gracie Baker.
