Obituary

Kevin M. Chapdelaine, 58 years of age, passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2021 at Parkland Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Kevin was the son of Paul and Helen Chapdelaine of Londonderry, NH. Kevin became a life-long resident of Londonderry, where he graduated from the first class of Londonderry High School in 1981. Kevin deeply loved his country and honorably served with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1981 to 1993.

Kevin was a member of the 150th graduating class of the State of NH fulltime Police Academy. Upon graduation from the police academy, he was hired as a patrol officer and served honorably with the Goffstown Police Department for the past 12 Years. It was Kevin’s passion in life to serve and help anyone in need and known to always go above and beyond his duties with the intent of making a difference each and every day in the lives of the people he touched. He gave of his heart and time volunteering throughout the Goffstown Community and faithfully served for the past ten years with The Shiloh Christian Food Pantry.

Kevin was a talented craftsman, known for his creativity and imagination and could build just about anything. His sense of humor and smile could brighten your day. When not in the wood shop, his time was spent making his home come to life through beautiful landscaped gardens while riding his treasured John Deere tractor. He filled his life and home with an unconditional love of all animals which included his dogs Bowie, Maggie, Pepper, Luke and Lucy.

Kevin deeply loved his family and is survived by his wife of 28 years, Michelle M. (Griffin) Chapdelaine; his only son, Maverick Chapdelaine and daughter-in-law Nicole Carrion; grandchildren, Carly and Wesley; his mother, Helen Chapdelaine; sister Kim Lesure; along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Paul Chapdelaine and brother Keith.

Kevin would want people to celebrate his life, to remember the happy times they shared and to remember that most of all he loved them.

The family would like to acknowledge and extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Goffstown Police Department and all who attended and generously took part in representing and honoring Kevin at his service. A commemoration and remembrance service will be announced by the family for a later date where he will be laid to rest at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund TBD will be established in Kevin’s honor.
