Mrs. Christina D. Banks was born on February 7, 1962 in Cambridge, MA to Constance Smith (Joseph) and James Banks.
Christina, affectionately known as "Christine or Chris" by friends and family, and Mom and Nana by her children and grandchildren. She departed this life on Thursday, December 16, 2021 in New Hampshire following an illness.
Her early years were spent in Massachusetts Public Schools and in her early adult life she moved to Albany, GA where she began her family, two beautiful daughters. She gave her life to Christ one Sunday morning at New Birth Baptist Church, Albany, GA. Christina’s passion in life was caring for family/others and cheering people up. She had a way of making everyone around her laugh and feel good. Christine was one of a kind of person that was hard to find with her strong, loving and caring spirit. She spent most of her time loving and caring for her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother (Constance), her father (Joseph), younger brother (Kevin) and her maternal/paternal grandparents/aunts/uncles/cousins. Left to remember her life experiences are her loving children-Latrina and Tomeka (Rodney), her siblings- James Jr., Carl, Thomas, Stacey, Shaunte, and her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Christina absolutely loved her grandchildren Jordin, Chris and Lauryn and her nieces/nephews. She was the epitome of family, love and togetherness. She will be loved and missed dearly.
