Frank Bramante passed away peacefully at the Atrium of Danvers on Sunday, December 19th. He was 78 years old. Born in Boston’s West End, Frank lived most of his life in Medford. As a young man, he like most of his family worked as a fisherman. As his family grew, he operated a Shell gas station on Salem St and a Gulf on Mystic Ave in Medford. He later founded a successful construction company which specialized in residential development. He operated the company until his retirement. A loyal, generous, hardworking and kind man, Frank was devoted to his family and friends. He always looked forward to time with his family, and received special joy from being with his grandchildren. He played golf and especially loved to travel throughout the U.S. and Europe with his beloved wife Bobbi.
The beloved husband of Roberta “Bobbi” (Colby) Bramante, Frank was a devoted father to Michael Bramante and his wife Rhonda of Middleton, Donna Indelicato and her husband John of Windham, NH, and Christopher Bramante and his wife Dollena of Amesbury. Frank was a loving grandfather to Breanna, Brendan, Jamie, Vallen, Julian, Tyler, Felicia and Victoria and a loving great-grandfather to Isla. The dear brother of Salvatore Bramante, Jimmy Bramante, Dolores Bramante, Christine Bramante, and the late Olympia Sharpe, Danny, Bernie and Peter Bramante, Frank leaves many nieces and nephews.
Frank’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday December 29th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday 4 - 8 PM.
