Lillie Mae Roberson Pate, 79, of Tifton passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2021, at Greater Life of Tifton with the Rev. Steve Waldron and the Rev. Ricky Revels officiating. Ms. Pate will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Greater Life of Tifton from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Donald Pate, Gary Pate, Jay Reiser, Chris Early, Stanley Gurley and Whit Massey will serve as pallbearers.
BornJanuary 6, 1942, in Jeffersonville, Ms. Pate was the daughter of the late James Son Roberson and Ella Phillips Kelly. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cynthia Darlene Pate. She was a homemaker and a member of New Life of Albany and is currently attending Greater Life of Tifton.
Ms. Pate is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Wayne and Tammy Pate of Moultrie and Donald Dewayne and Sarah Pate of Sumner; one daughter, Christal Delores Pate of Tifton; one sister, Glorine “Peggy” Williams of Columbus; eight grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
