Obituary

Vivian means alive. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who embodied their name like she did. She was always the life of the party. She was uninhibited in a light and fun way. Her wit was incredibly sharp, but she was skilled enough not to hurt anyone while keeping the place laughing. She was one of those people who made whatever it was, better, just by being there.

She struggled with her health throughout her whole life. Sometimes it was more visibly apparent than others, but her powerful personality was unwavering. Always there for others, always doing for others, always living for others.

Vivian was a 48 year miracle and I am deeply grieved by her passing because she was truly worth knowing.

2 Timothy 4
(7) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
(8) Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day

Rest in peace Vivian,

You’ve earned it.
