Russell Everett Dollar, 85, of Anderson died December 20, 2021 at Community Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born, April 22, 1936 in Anderson, the son of John and Ruth (Shoultz) Dollar.
He worked production at Delco Remy 30 years.
He is survived by his four children, Sue (Ed) Harris, Mary (Harry) Porter all of Anderson; Kenny Dollar of Elwood and Tammie (Russell) Reed of Anderson; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Elsie Dollar whom he married October 7, 1961 and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Ned Clark of Chesterfield Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from noon until the service.
