Martha Evelyn Cauthen Narofsky, 94, of Eldorado passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at her residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Ms. Narofsky at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Eldorado Baptist Church Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Landon Alberson will officiate.
Born April 14, 1927, in Eldorado, Ms. Narofsky was the daughter of the late Charlie Roy Cauthen and Ruby Owen Cauthen. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. She had previously worked at J. P. Stevens but retired from Kmart. She was of the Baptist faith.
Ms. Narofsky is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Elizabeth Narofsky of Eldorado and Michelle and Les Cook of Lufkin, Texas; one grandson and his wife, Lonnie and Mary Cook; and two great-grandchildren, Austin Cook and Haleigh Cook.
Ms. Narofsky is also survived by six other children and their spouses, James Lewis and Carolyn Fordham of Atlanta, Linda and Bill Turnmire, Donna Pearl and Steve Matthews, Michael Lee and Tammy Fordham and Mary Lynn and Wayne Rooks, all of Eldorado and Charles Robert and Carol Fordham of Florida; ten other grandchildren; sixteen other great-grandchildren; and two other great-great grandchildren.
