Marion “Lloyd” Barnes, Jr., 29, of Tifton passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021, in Cleveland, Texas. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Devon Love officiating. Mr. Barnes will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 27, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Josh Nolin, Michael Prince, Ricky Lynn, R. D. Hall, Matthew Harper and Calvin White will serve as pallbearers.
Born January 2, 1992, in Albany, Mr. Barnes was the son Marion Lloyd Barnes, Sr. and Judy Nesmith Barnes of Tifton. He was a tree surgeon contractor with Ping’s Tree Service in Texas.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Barnes is survived by one daughter, Adalynn Rae Barnes of Dawson; one brother, Michael Barnes of Tifton; one sister, Amanda Barnes of Tifton; and two nieces, Leighann Prince and Journey Prince.
