On Wednesday, December 22, 2021, Roger Claude, loving husband, father of 5 children, and Grandfather of 7, passed away at age 70 years old after battling cancer with great courage for 3.5 years. He was a servant to the Lord. As stated in Proverbs 11 verse 25, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed” Roger had a desire to give and provide for others. He lived his life through scriptures of the bible and would reference text from the bible whenever he would give advice to others. His love for God and his faith were what helped him fight for these past three years. He was a man of God.
Roger was born on July 15, 1951, in Cayes, Haiti to Christine Pierre- Louis and Edrice Pierre-Louis. Roger went to primary school and later went to a technical school to learn how to tailor. Roger Join the Haitian Army (F.A.D.H) where he spent 8 years honorably. In 1981, Roger migrated to the United States and worked primarily as a driver which helped him support his family back in Haiti and later on, he owned his own Cab’s company. In 1992, Roger met and marry the love of his life Leah and raised together their family with their children. In 2006 Roger became a member of Church of God Valley of Blessings and had a wonderful relationship with all his beloved.
Roger devoted his life to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was known for his generosity and his desire to help. He was also a beloved person who provided shelter, comfort, and advice to those in need. Whether it was a car ride to your destination, or you needed a place to stay, Roger was always there for his family and friends. He was the Poto Mitan of the family. For that, he will be truly missed.
Roger left behind by his lovely wife Leah Claude, his five siblings Gines, Marceres, Edouard, Rosemene, Souerette.and his brother in law Franel St Juste whom he had a very close relationship and , five children, Widlande, Reginal, Lensey, Kervin, and Ann. His grandchildren Ayalis, Rebekah, Isabellar, Francis, Brooklyn, Oliana, and Aliana. And Many nieces and Cousins and the Valley of Blessings Family.
Family and friends are invited to attend viewing hours on Saturday January 8, 2021 from 9-10 AM followed by a Religious Service from 10- 11:30 AM in the Church of God Valley of Good Blessings located at 1000 Blue Hill Ave, Dorchester, Ma. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery located at 45 Fairview Ave, Hyde Park, Ma.
