Marsha A. (Hogan) Thomas, 73, of New Bedford died Thursday, December 23, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of Robert F. Thomas.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Ambrose J. Hogan and the late Mary Elizabeth "Lila" (Bruce) Hogan-Trott, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
She was formerly employed as a clerk in the City of New Bedford Treasurer's Office for many years until her retirement.
Marsha enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; her son, Shawn Thomas and his wife Jodi; her daughter, MaryEllen Cerce and her husband Keith; four grandchildren, Colin Thomas, Riley Thomas, Jake Cerce, and Luke Cerce; two brothers, Thomas Hogan and Ambrose Joseph Hogan, Jr.; four sisters, Celeine Saraiva, Mary Hogan, Maureen Bowers, and Lynne Garcia; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Timothy, Ellen, and Catherine Hogan.
