In Natick, Jeffrey W. Blodgett, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on December, 19 2021. Jeff leaves behind his beloved wife Marcia Blodgett and six loving daughters; Christine and her husband Jimmy MacDonald of Natick and son Jake; Tracey and her husband Guy Twamley of Medway and their children, Nicole, Emilee, Justin and Maya; Stacey Marshall of Milford and daughters Olivia and Ava and their father Roger Marshall; Kimberley and her husband David Fangel of Natick and children Lilly and Ryan; Dawn Blodgett and significant other Mark Tosches of Ashland; Robyn and her husband Ivan Glynn of Millis and children Jackson and Liyla. Jeff is also survived by his sisters Susan Rigney, Barbara Laware, Stephanie Hemminger, and the late Jackie Lucas and their families.
Jeff graduated from Old Rochester High School class of 1966 then went on to become a licensed funeral director in 1970 working for many funeral homes in the Boston area then for the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton for twenty eight years. Jeff was an avid New England sports fan and truly loved spending time attending his grandchildren's sports and activities. Enjoyed weekend drives with his love Marcia to watch the boats drive thru the Cape Cod Canal. Jeff was a proud member of the AA fellowship, his contribution to helping others was always just a phone call away. He always enjoyed fishing and boating on his boats. Jeff truly loved spending time with his extended family at the annual summer pool party and the joyous family Christmas party with his beloved wife Marcia and surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Jeff will be greatly missed by all that came into contact with him throughout his life. In lieu of flowers, at the request of the family donations may be made to AA Central Service Committee of Eastern Massachusetts, 12 Channel St., Suite 604, Boston, MA, 02127. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
