WORCESTER__ Peter J. Sliwinski, 66 passed away peacefully Sunday, December 19, 2021, surrounded by his family.
Born in Worcester to the late Gertrude (Hurley) and Henry Sliwinski. He graduated from Leicester High School and retired from the City of Marlborough. He will be deeply missed by his wife of forty-seven years, Carolyn (Chrostowski) Sliwinski; brothers, Paul and Jimmy Sliwinski; sisters Mary (Ben) Borden and Sue-Ellen Caswell. He was predeceased by a brother Patrick Sliwinski. He also leaves behind Jan Chrostowski, Elaine Giard, Edmund (Lynne) Chrostowski and his special “Twinny” Emily. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Peter enjoyed long rides on his Harley Davidson, fishing, hunting and spending time with this family and friends. He traveled extensively to all of the Caribbean Islands, Columbia, Panama Canal, Mexico, Costa Rica, Switzerland, France, Italy, Austria, Liechtenstein, Germany, Tenerife, Canada, countless cruises and 42 of the fifty states. Peter brought laughter, happiness and smiles to all the lives he touched with his wit and kindness.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. John Church-Food for the Poor, 44 Temple St., Worcester, MA or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Calling hours will be on Monday, December 27, 2021, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester, MA. A funeral will be held with a Mass on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster St.
