Helen Vento Tessitore, 87, of Johnston, died Tuesday at her daughter, Sheila’s home. She was the widow of Vincent Tessitore.
Helen was Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Orlindo and Filomena (DeFelice) Vento. Formally of Coral Springs Florida. She was the mother of Gail Esposito-Williams and her husband, Dave of Cranston. John Esposito and his wife Paula of North Carolina, Sheila Esposito and Scott Esposito of Johnston and her siblings: Joseph Vento Vilma Vento of Johnston and Vincent Vento of Florida.
Helen and her husband, Vincent enjoyed dancing and won many awards together. She enjoyed cooking and going to Foxwoods, as well as dining out. Helen had a sense of humor and always seemed to make people laugh. She worked for the law firm of Paul Dimaio and associates for many years.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
