Anne Marie Brown, 74

Anne Marie (Naughton) Brown, age 74, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Easton. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Brown, to whom she was wed on July 12, 1969.
Born in Norwood, MA on May 6, 1947, she was a loving daughter of the late Leo F., Sr. and Helen (Curran) Naughton.
Anne Marie grew up in Norwood, was educated at Saint Catherine’s School in Norwood and was a 1965 graduate of Saint Claire High School in Boston. She continued her education and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Boston State Teacher’s College.
A resident of Mansfield for the past forty-eight years, Mrs. Brown had worked as a substitute teacher in Norton and surrounding town and also in Kansas. She was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield, was a former member of the Mansfield Historical Society and enjoyed landscape and oil paintings.
In addition to her husband of fifty-two years, she was the dear sister of Ruth Senger of Norton and Leo F. Naughton, Jr. of New York. She was the sister-in-law of Richard Brown and his wife Joanne of Holliston, Raymond Brown and his wife Janet of Maryland and is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Thursday, December 30th from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.
