Ronald “Ronnie” Bernier, 44, of Fall River, MA passed away suddenly on December 14, 2021. Ronald was the loving father of Christian and Hayden Bernier of Somerset, MA.
He is also survived by his mother, Joyce Kelly of Tiverton, RI, and his siblings Michael Rosenberg and Nicole Rosenberg of Tiverton, RI, Jesse Bernier and Jacob Medeiros of New Bedford, MA and Melissa Tacke-Bernier and her husband Josh Tacke-Bernier of Brooklyn, NY and three nephews Rocco & Wes Henry Tacke-Bernier of Brooklyn, NY, and Jacob Medeiros Jr. of New Bedford, MA and his loving grandmother Madeline Bernier of Somerset, MA and her long time companion Hank Torres of Fall River, MA, his grandfather Ronald W. Bernier Sr of Westport, MA and his step mother Marta Medeiros of New Bedford, MA. He was also the son of the late Ronald W. Bernier of Somerset, MA.
Ronnie graduated from Somerset High School in 1995 where he played football.
Ronnie enjoyed spending time with his children. He was also an avid New England Patriots fan.
Ronnie worked in construction for New England Foundation & Stabilization, a division of Geisser Engineering for over 13 years and he worked for Fall River Country Club for many years as a landscaper.
Services will be private and held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ronnie’s children’s trust fund. Please email [email protected] for details. Several weeks before Ronnie passed away he was trying to get life insurance so his kids could have something from him but he was unable because of his medical history.
