Malverina Elvira (Manfra) Myles of Stoneham, nicknamed “Chickie” all her life, passed away December 17, 2021 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, after a long period of ill health. Originally from Medford, Chickie was born to Malverina (DeAngelis) and Henry Manfra and was the youngest of five children. Chickie enjoyed music, having taught family members how to do the “Cha-Cha”, trips to Twin River Casino, and cooking Italian food for those she loved.
Chickie was predeceased by her loving husband, John Myles, her parents, her sisters Dorothy Ricci and her husband Michael, Gloria DelPo and her husband John, Rita McMahon and her former husband William, and her brother, Henry and his wife Santa. She was a most loving and devoted mother to her surviving son, William Flores, whose father William Flores, Sr. was her first husband. She will be dearly remembered by nieces, nephews, and an extended family.
A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clement’s Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, on Wed., Dec. 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM with burial following at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Chickie’s name to the Angell Animal Medical Center, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
