Roger Mars, Age 95 passed away peacefully, on December 20, 2021 at Heritage Hall West Nursing Home in Agawam.
He was born December 17th 1926 in Hartford, CT. Son of the late Sylvio and Mary Jane(St. Onge) Cing-Mars. Roger served in the US Army and was a veteran of WWII. He was the owner of Mars Heating Service until he retired at 86 years old in 2012.
He enjoyed his beekeeping hobby, and camping with his family. In the later years he enjoyed the numerous cruises that he and his wife went on. Roger is survived by his loving wife of 76 years, Marilyn "Molly" Mars; Sons James & wife Lonna of Hartland, WI; David & wife Karen of Anselmo, CA; Alan & wife Beverly of Chicopee, MA; Donald of Lynn, MA He was predeceased by his son Kevin and brothers Larry and Raymond. He also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. All services are private. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
