THORNTON ---- Janet (Nolan) Silva, 72, of Joshua's Lane, died at home on Saturday, December 18, 2021, with her family at her side.
Janet was born April 17, 1949, in Medford, MA, to the late Robert H. and Rena B. (Boone) Nolan. She graduated from Medford High School in 1967, where she was a cheerleader and once had the opportunity to cheer for the New England Patriots. Janet graduated from Northeastern University. She was an account manager for Cabot Risk for many years. A resident of Salem, NH, for 30 years, Janet retired to Thornton in 2016.
She loved the outdoors, especially skiing and hiking, and was a member of the Pemigewasset Valley Fish and Game Club.
Janet is survived by her husband Russell Silva, her stepdaughter Melanie Foley, and her husband Donnie, of Wakefield, MA, two grandchildren; Donald (D.J.) and William, her sister Pat Hazelton, and her husband Robert, of York, ME, and Estero, FL, and her brother James Nolan, and his wife Joyce, from Somerville, MA.
Services will be private.
