Ann “Juanita” Jordan Blalock, 90, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 26, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Nick McClellan will offer a eulogy. Mrs. Blalock will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 26, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Mrs. Blalock’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Born December 2, 1931, in Tifton, Mrs. Blalock was the daughter of the late William Henry Jordan and Minnie Lee Clark Jordan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Walter Blalock; two sons, Chris Blalock and William Paul Blalock; and five brothers, J. H. Jordan, Huey Jordan, Hubert Jordan, Billy Jordan and Leroy Jordan. Before retiring, she operated a child-care center and she was “Mema” to everyone. She was a member of Our Divine Savior Catholic Church.
Mrs. Blalock is survived by two sons, Mike Blalock of Moultrie and Rick Blalock of Tifton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Bobby Walker of Enigma and Anita and Alvin Brown of Leesburg; three sisters, Dorothy Jean Jenson of Tifton, Kate Modock of Elyria, Ohio and Christine Varner of Jacksonville, Florida; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
