Obituary


Robert “Bob” Leo Crnkovich, 92, of Carmel, passed away December 16, 2021 following complications from Covid.

Bob was born on December 3, 1929 in Mohawk, Michigan, the son of Anton and Anna (Verbanac) Crnkovich. He was career military and retired from the Air Force. He was then employed by the Stennis Space Center to work on the "Columbia" Space Shuttle Program. He was widely traveled while being stationed on many military bases in the US and overseas in Greenland, England and Thailand. Robert was highly skilled in math and engineering and has been an avid bowler since childhood. He and his wife, Esther, who preceded him in death, were faithful members and served as weekly volunteers at Madison Park Church of God for many years.

Robert is survived by his children; Brenda Proctor of Westfield, Jeff (Leah) Mosley of Indianapolis, and William (Marcene) Mosley of Utah; six grandchildren, Cole Proctor, Micah (Grecia) Mosley, Clayton (Jenna) Mosley, Emma Mosley, Adam (Alicia) Mosley, Haylee (Spencer) Chase; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, four brothers, and his sister.

Private family services were held at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
